I had the pleasure of photographing Maddie and Dani’s wedding. They are wedding photographers based in New England, and they trusted me to document their destination wedding in Oaxaca—I was truly honored.
As a wedding photographer in Oaxaca, I love capturing celebrations like this: intimate, meaningful, and full of personality. This wedding was planned entirely by the couple, a beautiful reminder that you don’t need much to create an unforgettable destination wedding in Oaxaca—just great company, good food, and incredible music.
Thorvald is my favorite DJ in Oaxaca by the way, and he kept the energy just right throughout the night. Banda del Sur played jazz music during dinner, then some banda—a vibrant Mexican genre that brought so much joy and authenticity to the celebration, especially for Dani’s family, who traveled from Chihuahua.
